Safer Spaces Create Better Connections
Training
Training is at the heart of any effective plan to create safer spaces, events and connections. Training is also a key component of meeting your responsibilities mandated by regulation in many jurisdictions around the world including the US and Canada.
Training should improve the ability of team members to apply the knowledge and skills they acquire. Certificates are just that – what differentiates effective training is the practical benefit it brings to the workplace.
We offer training in person and online via video conference. Our training ranges from 90 minute workshops, to 5 day courses. We can also design and customize training to meet the unique needs of your organization.
All of our training contains real world context and application; this is re-enforced through practical exercises, attendee participation and discussion.

OSHA 10 is an introduction to OSHA and is designed to be an overview of how the OSH Act protects workers. It includes the rights and responsibilities of employers and employees. It looks at hazards in the work place and practical ways that they can be mitigated.
We focus on real world application of OSHA regulation and your responsibilities, specifically within the context of the entertainment and event industry.
OSHA 30 is designed to dive deeper into the OSHA standards and will empower attendees to be safety leaders in the workplace.
Attendees will learn about workplace hazard recognition and mitigation techniques, viewing the entertainment industry from a new frame of reference. OSHA 30 will help develop tools and resources so that the show can go on-but safely.
We know that your work presents unique safety challenges, but no matter what you do, our training provides ideas on how to address them.
How can you tell if you need OSHA 10 for Construction or General Industry? Well, the truth is that you often need both. OSHA doesn’t care how you describe your organization, they care about the activities your engage in. If you construct, you are covered under the construction standard; if you are not constructing, you are covered under the general industry standard.
OSHA 10 for Construction introduces you to the nuances of the construction regulation in the context of the entertainment and event industry.
Our training focusses on reasonable ways to apply it to your circumstances.
We start with empty spaces that are reasonably safe and proceed to fill them full of new hazards. We literally construct a more hazardous environment.
How do you mitigate those hazards?
How is it different from when the show is running?
How do you train your crew to be safe, when you are meeting them for the first time that morning?
We know you are under pressure and out of time, and the last thing you have space for is more rules.
OSHA 30 for construction dives into the practical challenges you face when trying to comply with the regulation.Let us show you simple ways to create safer spaces in the dynamic environment of a load in or a load out. We show you how to be safe and still focus on the task at hand.
